Florian Thauvin

Florian Thauvin is one of those players who seems to fly under the radar internationally but has a resume that absolutely demands respect. Born in Orléans — yes, the city of Joan of Arc — he carved out a career as a creative, technically gifted right winger who could turn a match on a dime. His biggest moment came in 2018 when France won the World Cup in Russia, and Thauvin was right there in the squad, a World Champion at just 25. That same year France honored him with the Knight of the Legion of Honour, which is honestly a wild accolade for a footballer. His time at Marseille showed real flashes of brilliance, and the move to Tigres in Mexico and later back to Europe with Lens kept proving he still had plenty left in the tank. Criminally underrated by global football fans, but the ones who know, know.
