My Take
Glenn Howerton earns my respect for far more than playing the gloriously unhinged Dennis Reynolds on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He acts, writes, and produces, holding the gears of the story from the inside, and that quiet authorship impresses me more than any single performance. Keeping a long-running show alive from within takes a craftsman's stamina that audiences rarely notice. I'm drawn to the contrast he embodies: a character who reads as reckless and dim, powered by a creator who is clearly meticulous and sharp. That gap between the persona and the mind behind it is exactly what makes him so interesting to watch.
