Heather Baron-Gracie

Heather Baron-Gracie is, to me, exactly the kind of artist worth following closely: a frontwoman who sings, plays guitar, and writes the songs for Pale Waves rather than just fronting them. Born in Preston in 1995 and sharpened at BIMM, she carries that very British indie blend of vulnerability and steel. I respect performers who own every layer of their craft, and she clearly does. The fact that she keeps Instagram and X accounts suggests an artist who values the bond with her listeners, which only deepens my interest in where her music goes next.
