Heather Burns

Heather Burns is one of those actors who quietly made the romantic comedy era of the late '90s and early 2000s genuinely better — she's the best friend you actually wanted to see more of. From You've Got Mail to Miss Congeniality to Two Weeks Notice, she kept showing up in the biggest rom-coms of the decade and nailing it every time, bringing a natural, unforced warmth that made her feel real next to the bigger stars. An NYU-trained stage actor from Chicago, she clearly has serious chops underneath all that charm. Honestly, I think she deserved her own lead vehicle — the industry just never handed her one, which is their loss.
