My Take

Homam Ahmed is a player I find quietly intriguing. Born in Doha in 1999, this Qatari left back earned a senior national team call-up young and pushed himself by going on loan to Cultural Leonesa in Spain, on loan from Al-Duhail. That willingness to leave a comfortable domestic setup for the grind of European football tells me something about his ambition.
