Irina Pantaeva

Irina Pantaeva's story is the kind I find genuinely inspiring. Born in Ulan-Ude with Buryat roots, she traveled from the eastern edge of Russia all the way to the runways of New York, a leap that demanded nerve as much as beauty. At 178 cm she had the frame, but moving from modeling into acting while studying at New York University speaks to ambition that refused to stay in one lane. I admire pioneers who carve a path across cultures, and as an Asian-featured model breaking into the global fashion elite she was exactly that. A life lived boldly.
