Isaac Cruz

What I love about Isaac Cruz is the gap between his frame and his fury. At 163 cm he is small for the division, yet his nickname 'Pitbull' is no marketing gimmick. He fights like one, walking down bigger men and refusing to give an inch. Holding WBA and WBC super lightweight honors proves the substance behind the swagger, but for me the records matter less than the relentlessness. He is living proof that size is an excuse only if you let it be, and that pure, unyielding will can drag a fighter to the top. I will always root for that.
