Jack Savoretti

Jack Savoretti is the kind of artist I admire precisely because he never chased the spotlight. Eight albums since 2007, built quietly on craft rather than hype, with that warm gravelly voice and his British-Italian roots audible in everything he does. Records like Europiana and Miss Italia show a man comfortable circling back to where he comes from instead of mimicking trends. To me he represents the durable middle path of music: not a viral phenomenon, but a songwriter who keeps refining a singular world. I find that patience genuinely refreshing, and I suspect his catalogue will age far better than most.
