Jacky Heung

Jacky Heung intrigues me precisely because of the long shadow he stands in. Being the eldest son of Hong Kong film mogul Charles Heung could have made him just another pampered heir, but choosing to study at the University of Southern California and then carve out his own path as an actor and model suggests real ambition. I find myself rooting for performers who inherit a famous name yet still insist on proving themselves in front of the camera. Whatever the verdict on individual roles, the willingness to face that scrutiny head-on earns my quiet respect.
