My Take

Jeong Se-woon is one of those Produce 101 alumni who, to me, made the survival-show grind actually pay off. He didn't just get fed songs and pushed onstage. He writes his own material, which is the part I respect most. There's a real difference between being assembled by a label and being a singer-songwriter who can stand on his own words and chords. After debuting solo in 2017, he's kept building quietly instead of riding the reality-TV fame and disappearing. That slow, self-driven climb is exactly the kind of career I find myself rooting for.
