Jess Glynne

Jess Glynne interests me because she built her name the unfashionable way: lending that big, soulful voice to other people's records before claiming the spotlight herself. Featuring on Clean Bandit's "Rather Be" and Route 94's "My Love" could have left her a footnote, yet she turned guest spots into a Grammy and a debut album the same year. I find that quietly impressive. There's a confidence in an artist who proves she can elevate a track before she demands a stage of her own. What endures for me is a warm, instantly recognizable voice that simply refuses to fade.
