Jo Byeong-kyu

Jo Byeong-kyu is one of those younger Korean actors I find oddly magnetic. Born in 1996 and trained at Seoul Institute of the Arts, he broke through in Sky Castle, then stretched himself across the baseball drama Hot Stove League and the supernatural action of The Uncanny Counter. Moving so fluidly between exam-pressure drama, sports, and fantasy is rare in an actor still this early in his career, and it suggests both range and a discerning eye for projects. I think he is still on his way to his best form, and I am genuinely curious to see what kind of actor he becomes a decade from now.
