My Take
Jolyon Palmer is a compelling case of reinvention. His Formula One stint from 2016 to 2017 was modest, overshadowed at Renault, but I find his second act far more impressive. The 2014 GP2 champion turned that hard-won driving knowledge into genuinely insightful broadcasting for the BBC, Channel 4 and F1TV. It's rare for a former driver to explain racecraft with such clarity and fairness, and Palmer does it without ego. The Nottingham education shows in his analytical eye. To me, he's proof that a career's true value isn't always measured on the timing sheets, but in how you grow afterward.
