My Take
Okay, I'll be honest: the first time Reina Washio's voice hit me, I straight-up got chills. There's this clear, soaring, almost glassy quality to it that just slices through everything else in the mix, and once she opens her mouth you kind of forget anyone else is on the track. What gets me is the sheer range of what she does, model, dancer, singer, even voice work, without ever feeling like she's spreading herself thin. She's not the loud, elbow-everyone-out type; she just walks in, sings, and owns the room. I really root for the steady, head-down grinders like her.
