Jonathan Bailey is one of those actors who makes you realize how rare genuine stage-trained charisma actually is on screen. I first noticed him as Anthony Bridgerton — a role that could have been pure bodice-ripper cheese but ended up surprisingly moving, largely because Bailey commits so completely that you forget you're watching a period fantasy.
