My Take
To me, Jonathan Bennett will always be Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls, but I find his refusal to be a one-note heartthrob more interesting than that breakout itself. From Cheaper by the Dozen 2 to Van Wilder and a recurring turn in Veronica Mars, then hosting gigs and stepping into producing, this Otterbein-educated kid from Rossford, Ohio kept widening his range. I have a soft spot for performers who outlast their viral moment by simply staying useful on set. He understood early that a face only opens the door; the work keeps you in the room.
