My Take

Justin Wilson is a driver I refuse to let fade. Born in Sheffield in 1978, he reached Formula One in 2003 despite being 191cm, which in a cramped open-wheel cockpit is its own quiet act of stubbornness, then built a long career in Champ Car and IndyCar. He died in 2015 from injuries in an IndyCar race, and that still stings. What I take from him is the sheer persistence: a tall man chasing speed in a sport built for smaller frames, never letting that stop him. He gave everything to it. He's not someone to forget.
