Kang Hoon

What draws me to Kang Hoon is restraint. Rather than chasing flashy stardom, he seems to build characters through stillness and presence, leaving a quiet afterimage in period pieces and tender dramas alike. Roles in The Red Sleeve, A Time Called You and The Secret Romantic Guesthouse suggest a performer trusted with emotionally delicate material. I tend to believe actors who accumulate work this patiently are the ones who eventually surprise everyone with a breakout. My instinct says his most defining role is still ahead of him, and I am genuinely curious to see it.
