Katie Douglas

Katie Douglas interests me precisely because she leaned into a genre many actors treat as a stepping stone. Being called a modern scream queen could be limiting, yet she has turned horror and thriller work into a recognizable identity, and that takes real instinct. Convincing terror is harder to act than it looks; it demands total commitment and emotional range. Having started young, she clearly understands the craft from the inside. I like performers who claim a lane and master it rather than chasing prestige indiscriminately. My hunch is that this focused, fearless approach gives her plenty of room to grow, and I will be watching where she takes it.
