My Take

Kim Nam-hee is one of those Korean actors I'd rather watch than read about. He's a Seokyeong University graduate who works across film and stage, and I trust performers who keep a foot in theater because it usually means the craft comes first. I first clocked him in Mr. Sunshine and later in Sweet Home, and what stays with me is how he avoids showy choices. He doesn't sell the scene with his face. He lets the discomfort sit. That restraint is harder than it looks, and for me it's exactly why his quieter roles linger long after the credits.
