Kim Seul-ki

Kim Seul-gi is the kind of actor I root for, because she chooses funny over merely pretty and commits completely. From her SNL Korea days to Oh My Ghost and Splash Love, she shows comic timing that takes real nerve, the willingness to look ridiculous in service of a laugh. Busan-born and trained at Seoul Institute of the Arts, she has range that keeps her from being boxed in as one type. I think performers with that kind of fearless elasticity tend to age beautifully in the industry, and I expect her to keep surprising audiences for years.
