My Take
Koratala Siva is, to me, one of the more thoughtful voices in Telugu cinema. Where the industry often leans into pure spectacle, he smuggles social conscience into his blockbusters, giving heroes ideals and responsibilities rather than just punch-ups. Srimanthudu, Bharat Ane Nenu and now Devara show a filmmaker willing to ask what power owes to people. As a writer first, his dialogue carries weight, and his two Nandi Awards feel earned rather than ceremonial. I admire directors who can entertain a mass audience while still nudging them to reflect, and Siva does that with unusual sincerity.
