Lee Sun-bin

Lee Sun-bin earns my respect for the patience of her career. She started in the idol group JQT and could easily have faded, but instead she rebuilt herself as a genuine actress with an unforced, lived-in screen presence. Her turn in Work Later, Drink Now is the kind of relaxed, naturalistic performance that quietly draws you in rather than demanding attention. She has moved between comedy and drama without ever feeling like a dabbler, and that range is harder to pull off than awards-bait roles suggest. To me she is a connoisseur's actress, the sort discerning viewers keep recommending to friends.
