My Take
What strikes me about Lesley-Anne Down is her quiet longevity. She started young as both model and actress, broke through with a refined period-drama role, and somehow kept working decade after decade without burning out or chasing scandal. I find that kind of durable, understated career far more impressive than a brief flash of fame. Her ability to fold in singing too suggests a genuine performer rather than a face cast for one look. The fact that she still maintains her own site and online presence past seventy tells me she remains hands-on and engaged. I respect performers who simply keep showing up.
