Liz Bonnin

Liz Bonnin is exactly the kind of presenter I wish there were more of. French-Irish, Trinity College educated, she brings genuine scientific literacy to wildlife and natural history programming rather than just charm. What fascinates me is her pivot, from the pop sheen of RI:SE and Top of the Pops to serious science storytelling, a move that suggests real conviction about what she wants to communicate. I trust presenters who understand their subject, and her academic grounding lets her translate hard ideas without dumbing them down. That blend of credibility and warmth is rare, and I admire her for choosing depth.
