Lord Nicholas Windsor

Lord Nicholas Windsor fascinates me precisely because he walked away from privilege on principle. Born into the British royal family, his conversion to Catholicism cost him his place in the line of succession, and he accepted that loss rather than soften his faith. There is a quiet, almost stubborn integrity in choosing conviction over inheritance. His outspoken anti-abortion advocacy will divide people, but I respect that he lives by an explicit axis rather than drifting on his title. To me, the most compelling thing is the tension he embodies: an aristocrat by birth who chose to be an activist by conscience, and stands in that contradiction without flinching.
