My Take

Malin Akerman strikes me as a performer whose range comes from a genuinely unusual life: born in Stockholm, raised abroad, and working across modeling, music, and acting before settling into film. I think that mobility shows in her work — she moves between comedy and darker material without strain, and she has a knack for raising the energy of any scene she enters.
