My Take
Manu Chao is, to me, the ultimate musical traveler, an artist for whom borders barely exist. Singing in French, Spanish, English, Arabic, Galician and more, he treats the whole planet as home, and that polyglot restlessness is the heart of his sound. What I love is that despite Latin Grammy-level success he never abandoned the spirit of the street performer. He's far more than a hitmaker; he's a musician with real political conscience, and that's exactly the kind of artist I cherish.
