My Take
What I admire about Martin Klebba is how he turned a body the industry tends to typecast into a genuine signature. Best known as Marty in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, he works not only as an actor but as a stunt performer, which takes real grit given his acromicric dysplasia. Coming out of Troy, Michigan and breaking in via a cameo in Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes, he built a career on persistence rather than easy openings. There is a warmth and mischief to his screen presence that I find quietly memorable, and I respect how he keeps showing up and stealing scenes.
