My Take
What I admire most about Masego is his refusal to sit inside any single genre. Folding a live saxophone into R&B, jazz, and hip-hop, he coined his own label, trap house jazz, and the breakout track Tadow with FKJ proved it was no gimmick. There is a warmth in his sound that feels effortless yet carefully built. To me he represents a rare kind of musician who leads with instrument and feel rather than trend-chasing, and that integrity is exactly why I keep coming back to his work and trust wherever he goes next.
