My Take
For me, Matt Ryan will always be Constantine. He inhabited that weary, sardonic, secretly tender occult detective so completely that I struggle to picture anyone else in the trench coat. His voice work as Edward Kenway in Assassin's Creed showed the same range. What I admire about this Welshman from Swansea is that he's a craftsman, not a celebrity, leaning on stage-trained presence rather than flash. Actors like him, who quietly elevate every role with texture and conviction, are exactly the ones I find myself rooting for. I hope he keeps getting parts worthy of that talent.
