My Take

Maura Healey fascinates me because her resume reads like three lives stitched together: Harvard point guard, professional basketball player, attorney general, and now governor of Massachusetts. I think the basketball matters more than pundits admit. Point guards survive by reading the floor faster than bigger opponents, and that is exactly how she litigated and how she governs. She took on powerful institutions as attorney general without flinching, then made history at the ballot box.
