My Take

Baldry interests me as a genuine child-actor survivor. Starting out tiny in Mr. Bean's Holiday and still commanding the screen as an adult is no small feat, given how many child performers vanish. His climb from Hollyoaks through Years and Years to The Rings of Power suggests discipline and patience rather than a lucky break. Born in 1996 in Redhill, he is still on the rise, and I find that the most compelling part of his story. Landing a role in Tolkien's vast world is a real proving ground, and I am genuinely curious to see which character finally makes him a household name.
