My Take

Michaël Youn is the sort of all-rounder I find genuinely admirable. Comedian, singer, radio host, actor and director rolled into one, he clearly refuses to be boxed into a single lane. French comedy often leans clever and ironic, but I suspect Youn brings a more physical, gleeful kind of mischief to the mix, which is harder to pull off than it looks. There's something I respect about a person who keeps chasing whatever looks fun rather than guarding a brand. To me he reads as warm, energetic and refreshingly unpretentious about his many hats.
