My Take

I find Jana Kramer easy to root for. After breaking through as Alex Dupre on One Tree Hill, she didn't coast on acting fame but threw herself into country music, releasing two albums and competing seriously in Nashville. That willingness to risk a second career in an unforgiving field impresses me far more than the One Tree Hill role itself. There's a Detroit grit underneath it, and a Sagittarius restlessness that refuses to settle into a single lane. I respect people who define themselves by more than one title, and Kramer clearly belongs in that camp. I'm quietly cheering her on.
