My Take
Miriam Leone is, to me, a model of how to outgrow a crown. Born in Catania and standing a striking 176 cm, she won Miss Italia 2008, a title that can easily become a ceiling. Instead she pushed into television presenting, modeling, theater, and film, earning a 2021 Nastro d'argento for her comedic acting. That award matters because it proves she earned respect on craft, not looks alone. I sense real intellect too; she enrolled in letters and philosophy at the University of Catania. She is exactly the kind of performer I enjoy following, because she keeps raising her own bar.
