My Take

What I love about Natti Natasha is her sheer nerve. Coming out of Santiago in the Dominican Republic and emerging through Don Omar's label, she carved real space in a reggaeton scene long dominated by men, and did it on her own voice. From her 2012 EP to the breakout of Iluminatti in 2019, she's shown both staying power and ambition. There's a Sagittarian freedom in her music, punchy hooks paired with unapologetic lyrics. She channels a kind of Caribbean sunlight into her sound, and I deeply respect artists who clear their own path the way she has.
