My Take
What I admire most about Neil Gaiman is that he treats every storytelling medium as equally sacred. The Sandman alone redefined what a comic could carry, while American Gods and Coraline proved the range was no fluke. The awards pile up, Hugo, Nebula, Bram Stoker, but the detail I keep returning to is the word beekeeper sitting in his list of occupations.
