Nobuo Inada

Nobuo Inada spent nearly four decades in Japan's justice system, from investigating general-contractor bribery cases as a young Tokyo prosecutor to serving as Prosecutor-General. In 2019 he even voiced unusual public concern about how judges admit evidence, which tells me he was willing to speak up when it mattered. Sometimes the people who don't chase the spotlight are exactly the ones who deserved it. Inada feels like that kind of guy to me.
