Nobutoshi Canna

Canna started as a child actor and has spent more than three decades working with his voice, a craft whose reward is that nobody notices you doing it. What strikes me is the name: born Nobutoshi Hayashi, he adopted the stage name Kanna, romanized as Canna, a spelling you remember after one reading. Long service at Aoni Production, a June 1968 birth in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and a career that started with child roles. That gap is ours, not his.
