Park Eun-young

Park Eun-young is a KBS announcer through and through: a Korean dance graduate of Ewha Womans University who joined the Korean Broadcasting System in 2007, hosted shows such as Golden Bell Challenge and Entertainment Weekly, and won newcomer and excellence awards at the KBS Entertainment Awards in 2011 and 2013, plus its DJ of the Year award in 2018 for her morning radio show on KBS Cool FM. What draws me to announcers is their quiet discipline: showing up, day after day, to deliver words cleanly and on time. There is no glamour in that, only craft. Born in 1982, she has spent nearly two decades at the microphone, and I respect someone who lets the work, not the spotlight, do the talking.
