Pat Fry is the kind of figure I find fascinating in Formula One precisely because he works away from the cameras. He's a British engineer who has cycled through almost the entire grid over the decades: Benetton, McLaren, Ferrari, Manor, Renault and Alpine, and now Williams as Chief Technical Officer since 2023.
