Paul Arthurs

Paul "Bonehead" Arthurs is one of those musicians I deeply respect precisely because he never chased the spotlight. As co-founder and rhythm guitarist of Oasis, he built the thick wall of sound that defined the band, even if he rarely took a solo. His arc fascinates me: leaving in 1999, then rejoining the 2024 reunion is the stuff of genuine rock drama. Coming out of Burnage near Manchester, he carries that gritty swagger right in his playing. I value the unshowy backbone of a band far more than the frontman's glamour, and his return feels like justice.
