My Take

For my generation, Paul Schrier will always be Bulk from Power Rangers, the lovable goofball who anchored the comic relief for seven seasons. What impresses me is his staying power: he was the last original cast member to leave, returning years later for Power Rangers Samurai. Playing the buffoon well is harder than playing the hero, and sustaining that warmth for so long takes real craft. As someone who laughed at his antics countless times as a kid, I feel nothing but gratitude. Add his voice and directing work, and I see a quietly versatile entertainer worth honoring.
