Petr Čech

Petr Čech is one of those goalkeepers who makes you rethink what the position can look like. Standing 6'5" with that distinctive protective helmet he wore after his 2006 skull fracture at Reading, he was impossible to miss — and nearly impossible to beat. His Chelsea years were the stuff of legend: four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, a Champions League, and a goalkeeper's consistency that other keepers could only dream of. He deserved every bit of the Premier League's all-time clean sheets record. The Arsenal move in 2015 felt like a swan song, but he gave them four more seasons and another FA Cup before retiring in 2019. And then there's the ice hockey chapter — because apparently being considered one of the greatest goalkeepers in Premier League history wasn't enough; he had to go mind everybody in a completely different sport. Genuinely one of the most remarkable athletes of his generation.
