My Take
Rakul Preet Singh impresses me as a performer who treats linguistic and regional borders as no obstacle at all. Born in New Delhi and educated at the University of Delhi, she crossed straight into the southern film industries, building a leading career across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema after starting as a model. Winning a SIIMA Award and earning multiple Filmfare South nominations confirms this wasn't just looks opening doors. That kind of range, moving fluidly between film cultures most actors never touch, is exactly what I find compelling.
