Ranvir Shorey

Ranvir Shorey is a character actor's character actor. A Jalandhar native who started as a video jockey, he has moved fluidly between mainstream blockbusters and independent cinema since his 2002 debut, leaving his mark on films like Lakshya, Singh Is Kinng, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger 3. What I value is that he rarely needs the lead to matter; he sharpens a scene from the margins and quietly raises the quality of everything he touches. Actors who can elevate a film without headlining it are exactly what the industry treasures most. I have a real soft spot for dependable craftsmen like him.
