My Take
Rio Miyamoto was a race queen and gravure model, and the combo makes total sense when you think about it: both gigs demand presence, not just looks, and holding your own in the noise and heat of a racetrack paddock while looking that put-together takes a kind of composed confidence most people don't develop until their thirties. Born in Chiba and raised in Nagasaki, she won a rookie prize at the Japan Race Queen Awards 2018 and a Weekly Playboy prize the following year, and that steady climb feels intentional, like she built something on her own terms rather than riding whatever wave the industry handed her.
