Rose McIver is an actress I keep rooting for because she makes range look effortless. I first clocked her as Liv Moore in iZombie, where she turned a genuinely odd premise into something funny and oddly moving across five seasons. Then she popped up as the lead in the Christmas Prince films, became a Power Ranger as the RPM Yellow Ranger, and now anchors the CBS sitcom Ghosts as Samantha. That spread, from horror-comedy to family romance to network sitcom, tells me she is a working actor in the truest sense.
