My Take

Ryan Bennett's story is the underdog arc I instinctively root for. Released by Ipswich Town without a professional contract, he signed for Grimsby Town and turned rejection into momentum, becoming club captain remarkably young and picking up England U18 caps along the way. A 188 cm centre-back who answers being told he wasn't good enough by leading a dressing room shows a resilience I respect more than raw talent.
